Our tube got a couple holes in it from that. The current will push you into the sides of the river where there are plants, low hanging trees, and rocks. Use a tube with a mesh net on the bottom or else ur butt will be touching the river floor a lot and the mesh will keep the floating plants out of the tube.Ģ. I had a great time with my friends! It was very refreshing and a great way to spend our day off from work. But did I mention we saw wild horses, twice. We didn’t see any fish, but we saw these weird dime size leech type things that we had to flick away a few times. Choice 3 is doing both, start at point 1 and go all the way to the end. I got pushed I to some low hanging sharp beaches. They were smooth rocks but it still hurt. I’m not sure about kids on this part, 3 out of 4 of us hit our backs on these big rocks. By that I mean there are a couple areas that you move fast. You can wear water shoes/crocs because flip flops might fall off. They rent tubes you can fill with either your drinks or just stuff. As soon as we launched I got swept into a current, hit a tree and crashed into a chick on a paddle board, lost my tube and had to crawl on her paddle board to save me otherwise I would have been swept under. also no warning as to how intense the water would be at all. No drink holders or handles to hang on when the rapids get crazy. First off the water was freezing and the tubes were slightly deflated. My boyfriend and I took a trip yesterday as it was our first time visiting here. They just kinda throw you on the bus and tell ya you’re on your own.
